Carl B. Anders, M.D.

Carl B. Anders, MD, is a Michigan native born and raised in Midland. Since 1993, Dr. Anders has practiced medicine in Traverse City as a board-certified internal medicine physician. During his tenure, he has devoted efforts to volunteer in medical staff leadership positions including Medical Staff Treasurer, Medical Executive Chair, and President. He is the Provider Wellness Committee chair and Northern Physician Organization/Novello board member.

Dr. Anders favorite part of medicine is delving into patient symptoms, defining diagnosis, and educating patients on treatment options. He puts great emphasis on the coordination of care and confirmation of patient’s treatment compliance through monitoring symptoms, physical exam findings, and supportive diagnostic labs. “ I am conscientious, considerate, and reliable. My patients can expect consistent care with a physician who can make connections and help navigate them through a confusing healthcare landscape.” In his free time, Dr. Anders enjoys traveling, art, architecture, and music. He is dedicated to his family and is very involved in the care of his elderly parents.
